United Association Local Union 629 was Chartered in 1924. Our sole
purpose is to procure employment for our members under safe working
conditions, provide a collective bargaining agreement between the
members and the employers to establish a fair wage & benefit
compensation structure for the work performed.

Union Employers support and provide health insurance for the employee
& family and participate in a 401K plan. In addition to these benefits the
Employers contribute to the United Association of Plumbers & Pipe
Fitters National Pension Benefit Plan to provide a retirement plan for the
members upon retiring from the plumbing and mechanical industry.
Union Employers also support an accredited structured apprentice
program to train apprentices who have chosen a Plumbing, Pipe Fitting,
or HVACR career. We also offer Journeyman upgrade classes for
members to achieve any & all certifications needed in today's Industry.
